Seating Options for the Big Boy Room

Happy New Year! My first resolution for 2012 is to get S's big boy room finished, and on that note, I have been contemplating seating options.

I was originally going to DIY a beanbag for the reading area, something along these lines...

But now I'm having second thoughts. An apartment-sized chair would be more grown-up friendly:

Or kid-sized furniture:

Right now I'm leaning towards the yellow chevron chair, but it would require a bit of saving up because, at $279, it's over-budget. Decisions, decisions.
